#7685 - July 1864 Newspaper listing New Jersey Draftees This is an original 4 page issue of the July 14th, 1864 newspaper the Newark Daily Advertiser (NJ). Has many period remedies and ads, as well as war news. Front page has a list of Draftees by Wards. Lincoln and Johnson nominated. Petersburg said to be captured (not!) This had been bound into a library ledger, so when removed from edge twines & glue, it has fraying of left edges, along with small tears. There is a waterstain on pages too. But all sold for cost of a Happy Meal! Why not own & read a read civil war collectible rather than getting more corpulent? About 23 by 18".
