#4492 - Block A Confederate Button This is a Block A Confederate Artilleryman's Coat button dug in Virginia. It has a nice greeen-gray woodsy toned patina to its brass face and a rusted, yet solid, plain tin back. (No shank) It is attractive & solid. Not many more Artillery "A" buttons are going to keep coming out of the ground in the future!
