#17452 - Capt S Eatman Engraving Indian Sugar Cane This is a nice old steel engraving of an "Indian Sugar Plantation" annotated by "Capt. S. Eastman U.S. Army." Image of a culture and process long gone from face of the earth. The tribe is tapping trees for syrup and boiling it down to sugar! Image 8" by 5 1/2". A very light age foxing. Soft crease in center will disappear once flat flatted/framed.
