#17393 - Union Cap Box with pick and partial markings This is a standard Union infantryman's leather cap box from Civil War. It has only partial markings from maker on outer flap due to flaking of old leather surface. (Likely Newark and a US Inspector mark), It has all flaps and loops, as well as intact closure tab. Inside are wool and a nipple pick.
