#17350 - 2" Confederate Grapeshot from Atlanta GA This is a 2" diameter solid iron shot cannonball from Atlanta, GA conflict during Civil War. Likely from a stand of large "basketed" grapeshot. It has very mild surface roughness but no deep pitting or flaking. You can see the equatorial mold seam which indicates a Confederate manufacture.
