#16640 - War Battered US Puppy Paw Belt Plate This is a Union "US" belt plate as worn by enlisted men in Civil War. It took some damage in the war! Edge at "S" side is frayed and the rear belt hook no longer intact. The Puppy Paw studs remain. Site unknown
