#16638 - Field Modified Union NCO Sword by horstmann Phila This is a Civil War era NCO sword that has the Horstmann's Phila maker's marking. It was field-modified by turning down one clam-shell leaf of the brass grip in order to hang its weight directly over the waist belt edge. Has toning to grip. Blade about 32" long with slight stippling but no rust. No scabbard. Sadly, the shipping of swords has gone up because US Mail and UPS get very challenged on anything heavy or over 30" now.
