#16525 - Tintype of Trooper in frock in front of odd backdrop This is an original CDV-Sized tintype of a tall young private in a slouch hat and ill-fitting Union frock coat. Photo was taken at an angle so that the edge of the canvas backdrop shows off the room! This tintype has some soft creases but emulsion not flaking or bubbling. However, there are a couple vertical scratches to image that damaged the emulsion, even across his face. But I bought it because enough can be seen, it was cheap, and he was someone's scrappin' son. No case.
