#16295 - Tintype naive young Union Lad in big collar This is an original 1/9-th plate tintype of an innocent looking Union youth in a high collar frock coat. His cheeks & lips were tinted pink by the original photographer. He looks a bit forlorn to be leaving the safety of his parents' home. No ID known. Contrast is a bit dark. There are scratches of emulsion to sides of his face. Revenue stamp on rear of tin plate. Comes under original glass and fancy brass mats. In a half of a leatherette case.
