#16251 - War Torn Enlistedman's US belt plate This is a war torn Civil War private's "US" beltplate. Brass face with rear lead fill. Has the hook and two belt arrowhooks. Rim is tattered along one side. A mottled, frosty green patina, after seen in sandy areas. But exact site not known by old collector.
