#1622 - Oval Thermoplastic Case: Corporal Tin This is a very nice tintype of a Union corporal wearling a tie. It is housed in an oval thermoplastic case with a geometric and floral design on lids. Has a brown velvet pad and thin brass preserver. (No glass) Case is marked "Littlefield, Parsons" 1857 patent. Case good shape, though hinge little loose. Clasp not present. Tin in nice focus and contast. Interesting look. 2 1/2 by 2"
