#16139 - 1821 Scotts Infantry Tactics Book with owners name Scott’s Militia Tactics; Comprising the Duty of Infantry, Light Infantry, and Riflemen, In Six Parts. Written by Pierce Darrow, LT. Col. of Infantry, Second Edition, Revised and Enlarged. Published in Hartford, Connecticut in 1821 by Oliver D. Cooke. This is an original edition book, leather bound. The pages are foxed but all are legible. Binding is in good shape but about 1” is exposed on the spine, corners bumped and some edge wear. A prior owner penned his name in the front fly leaf in fancy ink, looking like Ellis Burgis Fairfield. Great research project! 282 pages.
