#16085 - Damaged 1862 $100 Confederate states bill This is an original Series 1862 Confederate $100 bill with engravings of period locomotive and a slave girl with a basket on her head. Back has three interest-paid stamps for 1863, 1864 and 1865. It is hand-numbered (2850) and ink-signed at Treasury. It has old darkened strips of scotch tape along right and left edges. Otherwise shows well in center. Damaged but nice for the price.
