#1603 - Bannerman Surplus: CW Crossed-Cannon: Artillery Insignia This original Union Crossed Cannon is full 3 1/4" with two wires on back. Though not dug, it looks like it was slightly singed in a fire. The collector it came from says it is from Bannerman's Island, which is possible, since they had a fire that toasted a lot of their CW surplus. This is in fine shape and has a nice honest look from that toasting.
