#15818 - Tintype of Union sergeant with note inside case This is an original Ninth-plate tintype of a standing Union sergeant. No ID yet known, but on paper liner of case back is a pencil note. I cannot decipher the cursive completely, but it starts out "Addis, Remember..." Possibly you could figure out the note more? Comes in original glass, fancy brass mats, and half-case rear with note. A bit dark on contrast.
