#15562 - Battle battered Union Private's US beltplate This is a neat Union "US beltplate" that has battle damage. The rim is bitten off by impact near the "S" side. The same force took off the belt hook. The two arrowhooks are intact. A nice green brown slightly coarse face patina to brass. Site unknown.
