#15489 - Ninth plate Ruby Ambrotype of Babe in Arms This is an original 1/9-th plate ruby glass ambrotype. It shows a baby in its mother's arms. No ID known. Very cute. (Born when Daddy away at War?) Comes in a half of a leatherette case with original facing glass and brass mats. Included is a 1/16-th plate rough tin of a man from same family. Unclear if Dad, Uncle or Cousin.
