#15322 - Union Arrowhook US Beltplate Port Hudson This is an original Union Civil War "US" beltplate recovered in Port Hudson, LA. From private land with owner permission obtained. The plate is curled-up or cupped, with rims higher than face. This is from weathering in ground, as there are multiple small stress cracks to face. Still is very solid from lead base on rear. The hook and arrowhooks are present. A deep back-brown patina. This has definitely seen battle and lived for over a century underground.
