#15267 - Dated Union Naval Boarding Cutlass Rack numbered This is a Union Civil War era Naval Boarding Cutlass with the closed brass hand basket intact. There is a stamped "10 M ( 57" on lip of brass grip which is likely a rack number. I see a date of 1865 on the ricasso of blade with a very faint 5. The ribbed handle has no leather and its wood is split but sturdy. Blade has rusting and dings. The very tip of blade is bent. No scabbard. Buy it and conquer a Blockade Runner! Sadly, the shipping of swords has gone up because US Mail and UPS get very challenged on anything heavy or over 30" now.
