#15052 - Ninth plate Daguerotype of Ghostly Young Man This is a 1/9-th silvered plate of copper showing a ghostly young man of the early 1850s. As usual, the silvered mirror surface makes viewing hard unless held at exact angel against the light. The contrast of emulsion is also light. NO ID known. It comes in original glass, brass mats and a full leatherette case.
