#14939 - Original Metacarpal Saw to rip thru Hands & Feet This is an original CW era metacarpal saw as carried in operating kits of most surgeons. It's size and serrated blade was perfect for curring through small bones of hands and feet when removing the macerated ends of those parts. This has a finely designed wooden grip, typical to era before advent of steam sterilization in Victorian times. No maker's markings. About 9 1/4". Some very faint tarnish to solid & sharp blade. (Great for curing shoplifters of their vices)
