#14837 - Battle Ravaged Union Puppy Paw Belt Plate This Union enlistedman's US beltplate has puppy paw studs found early in the Civil War. Hook also intact. No maker's markings. Edges are curled up and some lead loss at rear. Nice green verdigris patina to face. Old collection. Site unknown.
