#13930 - Tintype of solemn Union Infantryman with book This is an original 1/9-th plate tintype of a Union private solemnly holding a book. Likely a Bible due to his expression. You can see the infantry horn on the dome of his kepi. No ID yet known. Comes with originsal glass and brass mats in a half of a leatherette case. Nice focus, yet slightly darker on contrast.
