#13858 - Ninth plate Ambrotype of fraile Union private This is a 1/9-th plate glass ambrotype of a young Union private sporting a ratty stubble of a first mustache. (Is this Opie?) Comes in a only a half (rear) leatherette case. Very nice clarity & contrast. Original brass mats. No ID yet known. Come from a Massachusetts estate sale but that is all I know.
