#13850 - Hotchkiss Shell nose found by Wilber C. Bedall This dug Hotchkiss Nose section comes from the collection of early digger Wilber C. Bedall, who hunted extensively in various locations throughout his life, amassing an impressive collection of projectiles. It has no fuze, which allowed powder to be washed out. (Also, drill hole in base) It has pitting but is cleaned well and no longer flaking at all. A nice shell if you like the "rough dug relic look". It comes with a 5 page story of Wilber's digging life. He always got landowner's permission to hunt.
