#12335 - Tintype of known Union troop with Mussed Hair This is a sixth-plate tintype of a seated Union private with "bedhead". His cheeks are tinted pink. His watch fob looks like a college honor society key. In pencil on back is his ID: I think it says Ferguson Gibbs, Ilion (New York?). He died in 1920. Wife Mary died 12 1/2 years prior. Plenty for you to research and identify him fully. No case.
