#10510 - Charlestown Advertiser 1864 Newspaper This is an original issue of the "Charlestown (Massachusetts) Advertiser." It is a large folded sheet or cotton-rag paper, which creates 4 pages. It is loaded with local news, some references to Cil War, and dozens of CW period merchandise ads. It is a cool read from the era, while many Charestown men were risking life & limb on the battlefield down South. The paper has age stains, edge wrinkling and minor tears. No bad damage. Sturdy! I have a half dozen copies. Price is for each 1 (one). Comes rolled in a shipping tube. This one is dated January 16, 1864.
