#10121 - Tintype of Rugged Union Cavalryman This is an original 1/6-th plate tintype of a rugged Union cavalryman standing beside a table in a photographer's studio. He confidently puts his hands near where his pistols would be! His trousers are tinted blue. The crossed sabers insignia on his kepi are tinted gold, as is his NCO belt plate. There is a K highlighted in gold upon his huge black bow-tie. No ID yet known. Comes in original brass mats. No case. There are minor scratches and ripples to tinplate. Contrast on slightly darker side. A nice image of a real rough rider for Uncle Sam!
