#10053 - Split Hotchkiss Shell with Fuze rammed down it This is a Union CW Hotchkiss shell that was intentionally cross-sectioned to show internal features. When split-open, its shattered fuze was discovered driven down and deformed against bottom of charge chamber. The outside is pitted. Shell is poly coated for preservation. Neat!
