Custom Wood: We have available various Craftsmen and Hobbyists who create splendid wooden mounts, holders, and stands for relic items. These can be in pine, walnut or oak, though oak of course looks the best. These might range from a small wood base with contoured edges for holding a piece of wood containing a bullet, to a large board with specially contoured upright holders for swords or muskets. The point is that they can be custom fabricated to your needs. Swatches of felt can be added at contact points to space the relics off the wood. Also, brass plaques naming the item and its origin are sometimes asked for. Some basic designs are shown below with representative prices. But, as always, in the case of custom needs, let's discuss prices piece by piece.

Custom Metal: The most useful metal holders we've seen are those manufactured to hold projectiles. There are two basic types: a) The Flat Ring, of various sizes, upon which one sits a round shell. B) Tilted Cradle, a form of tilted shelf effect that holds elongated shells at a 45 degree angle.
